Asset Surveillance & Risk Management
  • Prepare quarterly and annual asset reviews highlighting performance trends, market conditions, and loan-specific risks.

  • Identify and escalate potential credit concerns and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor market dynamics and property fundamentals that could impact loan performance.

Borrower & Third-Party Management
  • Maintain regular communication with sponsors, borrowers, operating partners, and third-party service providers.
  • Coordinate with property managers, leasing teams, legal counsel, servicers, consultants, and lenders as necessary.
  • Participate in borrower meetings and property-level strategy discussions.

Financial Analysis
  • Review property-level financial performance and cash flow projections.
  • Update cash flow models and asset-level business plans.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and evaluate refinance and disposition alternatives.
  • Support portfolio valuation processes and internal reporting requirements.

Loan Workouts & Special Situations
  • Assist with loan restructurings, extensions, modifications, and recapitalizations.
  • Support the resolution of challenged loans, including defaults, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and deed-in-lieu transactions.
  • Perform recovery analyses and evaluate alternative resolution strategies.
  • Coordinate with legal counsel and workout teams throughout the resolution process.

Reporting & Investment Committee Support
  • Prepare investment memoranda, portfolio reviews, and asset management presentations.
  • Develop reporting for senior management, investors, and lending partners.
  • Assist with quarterly portfolio valuations and performance reporting.
  • Support ad hoc analyses related to refinancing, asset sales, and business plan execution.

Qualifications
Required

  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate debt asset management, underwriting, credit analysis, loan servicing, lending, or real estate investment management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate finance and lending structures.
  • Experience reviewing property financial statements, rent rolls, leasing reports, and borrower reporting packages.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assets and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred
