Cloud / DevSecOps Engineer AI-Enabled Cloud Automation

Position Overview

We are seeking a Cloud / DevSecOps Engineer to build and support secure AWS cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and implement modern DevSecOps practices for a federal government program. The successful candidate will leverage AI-assisted tools to improve cloud operations, automation, and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Build Infrastructure as Code solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate cloud provisioning and deployments.
  • Implement DevSecOps security controls.
  • Monitor cloud environments and application health.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers.
  • Support application deployment and production operations.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools into cloud automation workflows.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Cloud Engineering or DevSecOps experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or federal cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud automation and security.

Candidates remain accountable for secure, compliant, and production-ready cloud environments.

Common Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship (No Dual Citizenship)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an SEC Public Trust Clearance
  • Experience supporting federal government programs or comparable enterprise environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams
  • Willingness to support critical releases or production issues outside normal business hours when required
