About the role As the volume of data generated across our systems, vehicles and operations continues to grow, we are looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems and uncovering insights that can support better business decisions. Working across different areas of the Group, you will develop a strong understanding of our operations and use data to help us analyse performance, identify trends and opportunities, and improve how we measure and understand our business. You will be confident working with large datasets, with practical experience of Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI. You should also be able to interpret complex information and communicate insights clearly to a range of stakeholders. What you'll do Contribute to the preparation and development of weekly reporting across each company within the Group. Analyse, interpret and present key business data and insights to senior management. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Identify trends, patterns and opportunities within data to support informed business decision-making. Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests in a timely and accurate manner. Work closely with departments including Finance, HR, IT and Health & Safety to understand and support their reporting requirements. Review existing reporting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and consistency. Support the development of key performance measures and methods of analysing business performance. Ensure data and reporting outputs are accurate, reliable and presented in a clear and accessible format. Practical experience of developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data. Working knowledge of SQL. Ability to communicate data and insights clearly to a range of stakeholders. Desirable Criteria A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Familiarity with data modelling and Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes. Experience using Microsoft Power Automate and/or Microsoft Power Apps. Experience creating and administering Microsoft SharePoint Online sites, including SharePoint Lists.
