Job Summary (Mainframe Database Administrator - St Louis, MO, Onsite)

• Design, implement, and maintain database solutions across multiple platforms, including mainframe environments.
• Analyze and resolve database and data-related issues across various platforms.
• Conduct SQL code reviews for standards, best practices, and performance evaluation.
• Research and document database structures, including in-house and third-party solutions.
• Work with DB2 Z/OS environments, with a strong understanding of their technical requirements.
• Implement ETL processes using MS SQL Server SSIS and develop reports using MS SQL Server SSRS.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Apply principles of database design, performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
• Document technical architecture and solutions for internal and external teams.
• Utilize strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects, maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Utilize knowledge of SDLC, systems analysis, and database administration best practices.
• Minimum two years of professional experience in DB2 Z/OS and/or MS SQL Server environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
