Job Description

We are seeking a HVAC Rough-in Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of HVAC ductwork installations during the preliminary construction phase. In this role, you will primarily focus on inspecting HVAC systems at the rough-in stage, before plumbing, electrical, and exterior walls are installed. This critical phase allows for thorough examination of ductwork integrity and cleanliness, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and readiness for subsequent construction phases. The ideal candidate will possess keen attention to detail, proficiency in HVAC systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with construction teams and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC ductwork installations during the rough-in phase of construction.
  • Verify compliance with building codes, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Assess the cleanliness and integrity of ductwork to prevent contamination and ensure suitability for use.
  • Document inspection findings, noting any deviations and recommending corrective actions as needed.
