Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite
Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our development team and contribute to enterprise web application development. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Spring Boot experience, along with hands-on React and REST API development skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend services and web applications.
• Build scalable REST APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate responsive front-end applications using React.
• Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases to develop efficient data solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions and collaborate with architects and senior engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following development standards.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and application performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and development teams in an Agile environment.
• Break down user stories into technical tasks and deliver solutions within timelines.
• Support and modernize existing applications while maintaining system stability and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD activities.

Required Skills

• 4–8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Java fundamentals; Java 21 preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with React 17 and backend integration.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and client-server communication.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git and Maven/Gradle.
• Strong knowledge of clean code, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.

• JSF/JSP and legacy UI application experience.
• Modern frontend/component-based architecture experience.
• CI/CD and automated testing experience.
• Docker/containerization.
• Distributed systems knowledge.
• Spring ecosystem tooling.
