A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a Data Scientist with an entrepreneurial spirit to join a dynamic and expanding data science team. This role is critical to projects focused on National Security and offers the chance to make a significant impact within a highly respected organization known for its innovation.

The Role

• Build statistical and machine learning models, including natural language processing (NLP), to create automated solutions for complex business challenges.
• Construct and execute sophisticated database queries across multiple systems using SQL and API interfaces.
• Perform web scraping and employ various techniques for processing unstructured data.
• Utilize automation and machine learning to manage data, predict future scenarios, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Learn and integrate technologies such as AWS and Git into projects.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience. A Doctorate in a technical domain is also considered.
• Proven experience with Python and strong SQL skills, including working with relational databases and APIs for data extraction.
• Demonstrated experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, and natural language processing (NLP), including familiarity with relevant libraries and tools.
• Knowledge of frequentist statistics, probability, predictive modeling, computer science concepts, data architecture, and statistical methods.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Plotly, Seaborn, or Matplotlib.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
