Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Data Delivery Manager / Data Architect to lead large-scale Data, Analytics, AI, and Cloud Modernization initiatives within the Banking domain. This is a strategic leadership role requiring a blend of enterprise data architecture, client engagement, delivery management, and account growth experience.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Informatica, Databricks, Netezza, Cloud Data Platforms, AI/GenAI, Data Governance, and Enterprise Data Architecture, while driving successful delivery of complex transformation programs and building strong executive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Data Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise Data & AI programs across onsite and offshore teams.
- Manage project scope, budget, resource planning, delivery timelines, and quality.
- Establish governance models, delivery KPIs, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, risk, and regulatory standards.
- Provide leadership for large-scale cloud modernization and enterprise data transformation initiatives.
Solution Architecture & Innovation
- Define enterprise data strategy and modernization roadmaps.
- Architect scalable Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Cloud Data Platforms.
- Design enterprise ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, Metadata Management, Lineage, and Data Quality solutions.
- Drive AI adoption, Agentic AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation initiatives.
- Recommend modern data architecture patterns and cloud-native solutions.
Client Engagement & Account Growth
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and business leaders.
- Identify new opportunities in Data Modernization, AI, Analytics, Cloud Migration, and Data Governance.
- Lead solution presentations, proposal development, SOW creation, and client workshops.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Program & Engagement Management
- Conduct discovery workshops and define transformation roadmaps.
- Manage project risks, issues, escalations, and stakeholder communications.
- Align business objectives with technology solutions and enterprise architecture.
- Mentor technical teams and drive continuous improvement across delivery organizations.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Management, BI/Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, or Data Delivery.
- Strong hands-on and architectural expertise with:
- Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, IICS
- Databricks, Spark, PySpark, SQL
- Netezza, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake
- ETL/ELT, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling
- Azure Cloud Data Platforms
- Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Lineage
- AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI
- Experience leading enterprise transformation programs and large delivery portfolios.
- Strong Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
- Proven experience managing executive stakeholders and enterprise client engagements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, consulting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing $5M+ enterprise programs.
- Experience with Cloud Data Modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of Risk Management and Regulatory Reporting.
- Experience with enterprise AI strategy and data-driven transformation.
- Strong consulting and pre-sales experience including RFPs, proposals, and solution architecture.
