Network / System Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Product Owner for a Hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ, Pennington, NJ; Charlotte, NC; or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are looking for a technically adept Technical Product Owner with expertise in Java middleware systems running on Linux platforms. In this role, you will drive the development of scalable backend services, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize Java-based middleware solutions. You will also play a key role in shaping product strategy by aligning technical deliverables with broader business objectives to ensure the middleware platform supports current and future product needs.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development of scalable backend services
• Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize Java-based middleware solutions
• Shape product strategy and align technical deliverables with business objectives
• Ensure the middleware platform supports current and future product needs
• Utilize a strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, service orchestration, and Linux environments

Requirements:

• Experience with RHEL and JBoss EAP
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Python
• Experience with Packer

Desired skills:

• Experience with Ansible or Terraform
• Knowledge of Openshift

Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68 per hour
