Job Description

Director of Paid Media

Status: Full-Time Exempt | Direct Hire

Base Salary starting at $175,000

Location: remote
We're a fast-growing, fully remote organization on a mission to make a real difference — and we know our people make that possible. As we scale, we're adding a high-ownership, high-impact role to our team. We're seeking a Director of Paid Media who will own paid media end to end.

About Expressable

Expressable is a virtual speech therapy practice on a mission to transform care delivery and expand access to high-quality services, serving thousands of clients since our inception in late 2019. We are passionate advocates of parent-focused intervention. Our e-learning platform contains thousands of home-based learning modules authored by our clinical team, helping SLPs empower caregivers to integrate speech therapy techniques into their child’s daily life and improve outcomes. Our mission is to set a new standard in speech therapy by making every caregiver a champion of their loved one’s success. We envision a world where everyone can fulfill their communication potential.

What You Would Be Doing

  • Own paid digital acquisition strategy, budget, and performance across Google, Meta, and emerging channels, accountable for CAC, conversion volume, and payback.

  • Design and run a rigorous A/B testing program across ad creative, audiences, bidding strategies, and landing pages, with clear hypotheses, proper sample sizes, and statistically sound readouts. You'll maintain a testing roadmap so wins compound and insights are shared across the company.

  • Manage budget allocation by market and payer mix, targeting geographies based on payer coverage, therapist capacity, and performance trends.

  • Brief and iterate on ad creative with our designer and video editor, turning test results into clear creative direction.

  • Strengthen attribution under HIPAA constraints, including server-side conversion signals through our compliant data layer and incrementality or geo-holdout testing.

  • Partner with the marketing, product, and engineering teams on sign-up flow experiments that increase conversion across the funnel.

  • Report weekly on spend, pipeline, and efficiency, flag risks early, and recommend where the next dollar should go.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years in performance marketing, with at least 3 years owning paid strategy and budget at a consumer or DTC company (healthcare or telehealth preferred).

  • A track record of driving efficient digital growth at meaningful scale.

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and landing page testing tools (e.g., Unbounce).

  • Strong command of measurement (e.g., GA4, UTM governance, conversion APIs, offline conversions) and a clear understanding of the limits of platform attribution.

  • Experience running disciplined A/B and multivariate tests.

  • Experience marketing under privacy or regulatory constraints (HIPAA, healthcare ad policies, restricted targeting) is a big plus.

Why Join Us?

  • Exceptional paid time off policies that encourage and support life balance, including a winter break

  • 401k matching to ensure our staff have what they need to enjoy their retirement

  • Health insurance options that ensure well-being for the whole person and their family

  • Company paid life, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage

  • A remote work environment that strives for connectivity through professional collaboration and personal connection
