Job Description
Apply your Canadian personal finance expertise to real-world financial workflows and evaluation tasks that help improve how AI systems understand, assess, and explain household financial decisions. This remote contract role centers on Canadian banking, registered accounts, tax filing, financial documentation, and the quality review of AI-generated financial guidance. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Complete realistic personal finance workflow tasks using securely linked Canadian bank accounts, with personal information redacted before downstream use. Apply professional judgment to topics including RRSPs, TFSAs, FHSAs, mortgages, savings plans, and CRA personal tax filing. Provide clear written explanations of Canadian personal finance concepts and decisions. Review AI-generated financial guidance against established rubrics and provide concise, constructive feedback.
Verify and interpret financial documentation related to registered accounts, tax deadlines, and household financial decisions. Help develop and refine evaluation rubrics, assessment guidelines, grading criteria, and scoring standards for personal finance outputs. Stay current with relevant Canadian tax, registered account, and savings regulations as they relate to project work. Contribute domain expertise that helps train and evaluate next-generation AI systems.
Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on experience in banking, wealth management, financial advising, accounting, or tax planning for Canadian households. Strong finance background with experience handling financial documents, evaluating work against rubrics, troubleshooting issues, and working with tax filing topics. Exceptional written communication skills and the ability to explain technical financial concepts to different audiences. Comfort securely connecting personal Canadian bank accounts through Plaid, with all personally identifiable information redacted before use.
Active standing in one or more Canadian credentials such as CFP, QAFP, CIM, PFP, or CPA is preferred. Professional designations such as CFA or CTP, in addition to Canadian credentials, are preferred. Experience with rubric-based evaluation, model output review, or AI training projects is preferred. Experience drafting assessment guidelines, rubrics, or scoring criteria for complex financial topics is preferred. Work Terms
Remote contract engagement. The work focuses on household financial workflows, advisory processes, document review, evaluation, and written financial reasoning.
No prior experience working with AI systems is required. Compensation
Compensation is $90 to $110 per hour. Eligibility
