Ingeus is a leading human services provider helping people, business and communities thrive through employment, skills and health & wellbeing services. We are a trusted partner to government and industry delivering services that create positive social impact and transform lives.

Youth Employability Trainer
Regional Office Worker
- Site & Community based (Covering Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall & Wolverhampton)
Salary: Starting from £31,000 per annum + Package
About the role

Are you great at connecting with young people and helping them take their next step towards work? We are looking for a youth-focused Trainer to join the Jobs Guarantee programme, delivering practical, engaging sessions that build confidence, employability skills and belief in what is possible.

You will bring programme content to life through group delivery, coaching-style conversations and tailored support. Your sessions will help young people understand the world of work, recognise their strengths, practise workplace behaviours and prepare for opportunities that feel realistic and achievable.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver lively, accessible training sessions that help young people build confidence, motivation and practical employability skills.
  • Adapt your approach to different learning styles, confidence levels, abilities and support needs.
  • Work closely with Employment Advisors so training links directly to each young person’s action plan and progression goals.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and motivating space where young people feel listened to, positively challenged and supported to move forward.
  • Cover topics such as communication, CVs, interviews, job search, employer expectations, digital skills, wellbeing and workplace behaviours.
  • Keep accurate records, gather feedback and use it to improve the learning experience.
  • Meet programme standards, safeguarding requirements and reporting obligations while maintaining a youth-centred, strengths-based approach.

About you

  • Experience of working with young people through youth work, employability, training or education programmes, supporting participants who are preparing for work, building confidence or progressing towards employment.
  • Strong facilitation and group delivery skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and positively challenge young people.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people who face barriers to employment.
  • Sound knowledge of employability skills, employer expectations, youth progression routes and local opportunities into work, training or further support.
  • Experience of adapting delivery for young people who may face additional barriers, low confidence, disrupted education, limited work experience or complex personal circumstances.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and a commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed and youth-centred practice.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to deliver training and engage with participants and partners.

If you are a youth professional who can combine engaging group delivery with a practical understanding of what helps young people move towards work, we would love to hear from you. Apply now and help make a meaningful difference through the Jobs Guarantee programme.
