Job Description

WAVE Trauma Centre are recruiting for a Project Manager, Mother and Baby, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses (MBMLW) based in our Belfast Centre.

The post holder will support WAVE’s core values of Empowerment, Inclusivity, Equality, Accountability, Respect, Trustworthy, Honesty and Partnership. The Project Manager will be expected to embody, champion and promote these values in all aspects of leadership, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that all interactions reflect WAVE’s commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred care.

As Project Manager you will oversee the work undertaken directly with survivors of the Mother and Baby, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses (MBMLW).

In addition, you will support the Survivor Engagement Manager in the delivery of services located at Nevara and liaise with Centre Managers across the region to support the delivery of the regional project.

Salary: £38,220 per annum

Location: 4 Chichester Park Central, Belfast, BT15 5DU

Hours of Work: 37.5hrs per week

Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am 4.30pm

1 day work from home

Some unsocial hours will be required dependent on centre/organisational activities

WAVE is committed to the support, training and development of its staff and volunteer team. The organisation offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package for the post holder to include: 25 days annual leave (increasing with service) and 11 statutory days. A training and development programme and employee support package are also in place, with the organisation giving an 8% pension contribution, with no employee contribution required.
