This is a varied role combining project management, client engagement, software delivery and implementation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software implementation projects from initiation through to completion.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver software implementation and rollout projects for customers.
- Gather customer requirements and translate these into clear project plans and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate internal technical teams and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage project timelines, risks, budgets and resource planning.
- Provide regular project updates and communicate progress with customers and senior stakeholders.
- Support software configuration, implementation and go-live activities.
- Ensure successful customer adoption through effective planning, communication and training where required.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Build strong long-term customer relationships and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and ways of working.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Around 3+ years' Project Management experience within software delivery, software implementation or technology environments.
- Experience working across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- A background within a software house, SaaS business, technology company or software development environment would be highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience delivering software implementations, deployments or system rollouts.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- PRINCE2, Agile or other Project Management qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
