Senior Associate / Principal Associate - Financial Services & Capital Markets

Location: London

PQE: 4+ years

Role: Full-Time, Hybrid

A leading law firm is seeking a Senior/Principal Associate (4+ PQE) to join its Financial Services & Capital Markets team in London. Advising UK and international clients, you'll handle equity capital markets, investment funds, fundraisings, public company transactions and regulatory matters, with excellent training, high-quality work and long-term career progression.

About the Role
  • Advise listed companies, investment funds and financial institutions on capital markets transactions.

  • Handle IPOs, fundraisings, placings, rights issues and listings.

  • Advise on public company governance, disclosure and regulatory matters.

  • Advise investment funds on launches, fundraisings and restructurings.

  • Manage transactions, including cross-border and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Develop client relationships and support business development.

  • Mentor junior lawyers.

Essential
  • Qualified solicitor with 4+ PQE in corporate, capital markets or financial services.

  • Strong capital markets and corporate transaction experience.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and transaction management skills.

  • Commercially minded with strong client-handling abilities.

  • Organised, collaborative and proactive.

Desirable
  • Listed company and/or investment fund experience.

  • IPO, fundraising or equity capital markets experience.

  • FCA-regulated client experience.

  • Cross-border transaction experience.
