Building Services Engineer

Building Services Engineer We are seeking an experienced and driven Building Services Engineer to join our agency team on a high-profile static site in Central London. This role combines hands-on engineering duties with team leadership and statutory compliance, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable site operation.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on electrical systems and mechanical plant<br />Fault find and repair building services systems including HV, LV, HVAC, and associated plant<br />Undertake minor works including lamping, basic plumbing repairs, and component replacements<br />Lead and support a team of engineers on site, ensuring works are completed to a high standard, providing day-to-day direction, mentoring, and performance oversight<br />Review and complete RAMS, ensuring all works are carried out safely<br />Ensure all engineering activities meet statutory and site compliance requirements<br />Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions where required<br />Act as the main point of contact on site for technical issues and escalations Requirements Proven experience in an Engineer role within Building Services<br />Strong hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems maintenance<br />Experience carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and fault finding<br />Be a commutable distance of Central London<br />Ability to lead engineers while remaining actively involved in day-to-day engineering tasks<br />Experience completing and reviewing RAMS<br />Strong client-facing and communication skillsBuilding Services Engineer: - Up to £50,000 basic + Package Contact Nikki at Tech-People (phone number removed) the specialist recruitment agency and business within HVAC, M&amp;E and Utilities Tech-people are the leading recruitment business and agency within M&amp;E and Construction We are committed to attracting and providing a diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which our clients and stakeholders operate, helping to facilitate an environment that enables everyone to fulfil their potential
