Maintenance Engineer

I have a fantastic opportunity for an electrically-biased maintenance engineer to join a well-known company based near Wolverhampton and Dudley. As an engineer you will be tasked with looking after the kit on site and keep downtime to a minimum.

My client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team on a continental shift pattern. The right person will be an electrically bias engineer. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the worlds best employers.

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Continental shift rota. (3s & 2s)
• Improve and promote safety across site.
• Focus on departmental KPIs.
• Identify electrical faults.
• Manage and supervise contractors.
• Shift reports.
• Planned and reactive maintenance.
• Identify and procure critical spares.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:

• Apprentice trained.
• Recognised engineering qualifications.
• Electrical qualifications.
• Strong fault-finding capabilities.
• Health & Safety / Food Safety.
• Be knowledgeable in using quality assurance systems and standards.
• Fault finding on PLC systems.
• SCADA systems (advantageous).
