Job Description

Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer – Small Works

£35,000–£42,000 | Southwest & Midlands | No on-call

We’re looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer for commissioning and small works, with a small amount of maintenance.

Ideally, you’ll live between Swindon and Reading along the M4. Candidates towards Bristol are also welcome; you should be based no further east than Reading. The role covers the Southwest and Midlands, so willingness to travel is essential.

You’ll need:

  • Fire alarm commissioning, small works and maintenance experience.
  • strong knowledge of BS5839.
  • Good customer service and organisational skills.

Permanent position, working 40 hours Monday–Friday. Company vehicle, overtime at time and a half after 40 hours, travel paid after the first 30 minutes, pension and 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
