We are seeking a dedicated pediatrician to join a leading German medical center renowned for its specialized pediatric neurology, neuro-rehabilitation, and epileptology services, including epilepsy surgery and early rehabilitation. This facility is a certified center of excellence for children and adolescents with complex neurological conditions, fostering a highly interdisciplinary approach and collaborating with esteemed academic institutions.

The Role

• Pursue specialized training in neuropediatrics and clinical neurophysiology/epileptology, focusing on pre-surgical epilepsy diagnostics.
• Gain comprehensive experience across all areas of the specialized center, including epilepsy surgery monitoring, conservative epileptology, intermediate care, home ventilation, and early/further rehabilitation.
• Develop expertise in interpreting EEGs and cMRTs, motor assessments, assistive device provision, and botulinum toxin treatments.
• Deepen knowledge in video-EEG long-term monitoring (non-invasive and invasive) and intraoperative monitoring, with opportunities to obtain an EEG certificate.
• Contribute to the care provided within a certified epilepsy center focused on pre-surgical diagnostics and surgical interventions using modern methods.
• Benefit from individualized 1:1 teaching and supervision by senior epileptologists for targeted professional development.

What You'll Need

• A strong interest in neuropediatrics and epileptology; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A commitment to working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• High levels of empathy and dedication towards critically and chronically ill children and their families.
• Board certification in Pediatrics.
