Position Details

  • Location: Columbia, SC (Zip: 29210)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). Please note: Requires being 100% onsite for the first 30 90 days before transitioning to hybrid.
  • Interview Process: 1-Round, Virtual/Online (Quick decision-making process!)
  • Requirement: Must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting at your own expense.

Position Overview

In this role, you will lead the operational management, support, and release coordination for high-impact healthcare systems (MMIS, Claims, and Encounter Processing). You will coordinate with external vendors, security teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure business-critical operations run smoothly and securely.

Highlighted Skills & Requirements

Must-Have (Required):

  • Healthcare Systems (5+ Years): Direct experience managing system operations or program functions for healthcare claims and/or encounter processing.
  • Project Management (5+ Years): Hands-on experience leading system implementations or enhancements.
  • Vendor Management (3+ Years): Proven track record of managing external IT/software development vendors.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Active AWS Cloud Certification.
  • Flexibility: Ability to support incident management on-call and after-hours when required for critical system releases.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field (or 5+ years of equivalent systems/business analysis experience).

Nice-to-Have (Preferred):

  • Prior experience with Medicaid Enterprise systems.
  • Strong ticketing software experience and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) writing skills.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and MMIS domain concepts.
