Priory Hospital East Midlands is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. This is a part time 20 hours per week role.
We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services.
We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Working hours are 09:00 to 13:00 - Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sunday only (20 hours).

Priory Hospital East Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, is a 28-bedded specialist acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) service for adult females.
Priory’s acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Supporting colleagues where required
What you'll bring to the role
Our work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key. No two days are the same! Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
