We are seeking a passionate and skilled Swing and Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our dedicated team either part time or full time. In this role, you will provide high-quality emergency care during overnight shifts, collaborating with our experienced staff to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to advancing their knowledge in emergency medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care to a diverse range of cases.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and execute surgical interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with emergency veterinary practices.
- DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in Mississippi.
- Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
