Senior Python Software Engineer [$310k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Summary: • Develop and maintain complex, diverse software systems and processing-intensive analytics. • Architect novel algorithms and manage large-scale data processing using distributed computing frameworks. • Utilize Python, Apache Spark, MapReduce, and SQL/NoSQL databases for high-performance data analytics. • Provide technical team leadership, systems engineering, and database engineering support across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 14+ years • Total Compensation: $310k+ yearly Job Description: • Develop, maintain, and enhance cloud-based analytic solutions and real-time systems processing high volumes of data. • Implement algorithms and analytics using Apache Spark, MapReduce, Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), and SQL/NoSQL. • Conduct requirements analysis, software component integration, and comprehensive testing to ensure adherence to design requirements. • Evaluate hardware/software trade-offs, identify software reuse opportunities, and integrate COTS/GOTS solutions. • Collaborate within multi-disciplinary engineering teams, resolve software problem reports, and provide technical guidance.
