About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional PhD Scientist, Drug Discovery Data for AI/ML to join a highly collaborative, intellectually rigorous team where computational excellence is the standard.
This is a high-impact position designed for a driven problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of complex architecture, advanced algorithms, and real-world execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect & Build: Design, identify, curate, and analyze proprietary scientific datasets (primarily chemical and biological) to shape and implement the firm''s overarching drug discovery data strategy.
Data & Research Execution: Translate complex scientific datasets and abstract biological/chemical challenges into clear, scalable, high-performance frameworks to support machine learning models.
Systemic Optimization: Identify technical friction points in data curation pipelines, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance operational velocity across high-concurrency computational environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key technical interface, working directly with machine learning researchers, computational scientists, and leadership to support internal and collaborative drug discovery programs.
What You Bring:
Academic Pedigree: Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biology, or a related STEM discipline.
Technical Mastery: Strong command of core concepts and tools such as Chemical Datasets, Biological Datasets, Assay Development, Linux, Python, Molecular Dynamics, and Machine Learning.
Analytical Precision: Proven track record of solving multi-faceted problems, supported by hands-on laboratory experience in an industry setting (5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech companies preferred).
Agile Mindset: Ability to balance rigorous scientific standards with fast-paced, autonomous execution under pressure in an interdisciplinary environment.
Compensation & Work Schedule
Base Salary: $250,000 – $400,000 annually, plus variable compensation (sign-on and year-end bonuses) and full benefits including relocation assistance.
Work Model: Hybrid schedule (In-Office Tuesday through Thursday; Option to work from home Monday and Friday).
