Overview

Senior Java Developer with proven experience in the banking or financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development combined with advanced Python programming skills, enabling them to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade financial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications for financial systems.

• Leverage Python for data processing, automation, and integration tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.

• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in coding and architecture.

Required Skills

• Python (Data structures, scripting, automation, APIs, Pandas/NumPy preferred).

• Core Java (Collections, Multit hreading, Streams, Spring/ Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA).

• Strong knowledge of banking/financial domain workflows (payments, risk, compliance, trading, etc.).

• Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Prior experience in financial institutions, fintech, or banking projects.
