At Patterns Behavior Services, we're on a mission to empower individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a Behavior Technician (BT), you'll be the guiding hand helping our clients develop essential skills, improve communication, and gain independence — and you'll do it with the support of a caring team and comprehensive training.
No experience? No problem! We provide all the paid, in-house, ongoing training you’ll need to succeed and grow in this rewarding career.

Who are we looking for?
- People who love working with children and helping others
- Students studying Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Early Childhood, or related fields
- Babysitters, nannies, daycare workers
- Direct Support Professionals, Respite Workers, Paraprofessionals
- LNA/CNA professionals
- And anyone eager to make a difference!
- Ideal candidates are available Monday-Friday, between 1 pm and 7 pm, for about 10-15 hours a week.
- You should be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid California driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required — we’ll train you!
Your responsibilities:
- Implement personalized ABA techniques in various settings
- Collect accurate data to track progress
- Participate in therapy sessions, staff meetings, and training sessions
- Support with daily living and personal care routines—including toileting, hygiene, and self-care skills—using structured, individualized ABA strategies to promote independence.
