High Voltage Substation Technician / Commissioning Technician | Landsberg, Germany | Hybrid

A leading European energy infrastructure company is seeking a skilled technician to contribute to the development of new and modernized substations. This role is pivotal in advancing renewable energy projects and ensuring the successful transition to a sustainable energy future across Southeast Germany.

The Role

• Commissioning and testing of medium, high, and ultra-high voltage substations.
• Analyzing and resolving faults within protection and control systems.
• Configuring and parameterizing protection and field control devices from leading manufacturers.
• Utilizing modern testing equipment for precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology.
• Collaborating effectively with project management, planning, and installation teams.
• Playing a key role in projects related to energy transmission, distribution, and grid connections for renewable energy sources.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated knowledge in protection/control technology, with experience in commissioning switchgear.
• Familiarity with common communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104).
• Experience with configuration software like Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and OMICROM TestUniverse is advantageous.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and decision-making skills in German.
• Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel for projects.
