IT Security Operations Analyst/Network Engineer with Security Clearance

Position: IT Security Operations Analyst/Network Engineer Primary Location: Washington, DC 20534
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift Clearance Required: Public Trust Clearance — must be able to obtain and maintain prior to performance RESPONSIBILITIES
* Work with the Patch Management Team to align security processes, policies, and procedures with security standards and operational goals
* Apply knowledge of infrastructure compliance, policies, and practices
* Assess malware impact and inspect vulnerability scan results
* Manage distribution of Microsoft operating system patches and third-party patches using ELMS
* Administer and utilize Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for patch deployment
* Support broader UNICOR IT security objectives and contribute to the overall security postureEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience with patching and vulnerability management
* CompTIA Security+ Certification can substitute for 1 year of the required 2 years of experienceCERTIFICATIONS
* CompTIA Security+ — substitutes for 1 year of required experience in patching and vulnerability management
