Data Quality and Insight Analyst
Salary: £41,380 per annum plus opportunity to earn up to 5% performance related bonus
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: Hale Village, London, N17
Newlon Housing Trust is a successful charitable housing association and one of the major providers of new affordable housing in North and East London.
We have an opportunity for an experienced data analyst to work with Newlon's Business Intelligence Lead ensuring that all data is accurate, reliable and trusted enabling the delivery of quality reports.
To include:
- Business intelligence - gathering data and ensuring data quality to provide residents, colleagues and decision makers with accurate information.
- Reporting - creating engaging and informative reports and present findings to decision makers to support the delivery of excellent services, the maintenance of high-quality homes and the ability to make efficient and effective decisions.
- Benchmarking - comparing Newlon's performance with other organisations to demonstrate areas of good practice and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Insight - applying your critical thinking and communication skills to interpret data, identify trends and anomalies, and provide high-quality analysis.
You will work in partnership with the IT and service teams and provide ongoing assurance to managers and senior leaders with regards to data quality and improvement.
With proven experience of working in a data driven environment on large datasets, you will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills and a naturally inquisitive approach to problem-solving. You will have proven experience of data entry into IT systems using a variety of computer databases, an eye for detail and a thorough understanding of data analysis and data modelling.
