Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architecture solutions using Snowflake, SQL, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud data platforms, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and enterprise data architecture.

Key Responsibilities
Design and lead Snowflake data architecture for enterprise-scale data platforms.
Develop scalable data models, schemas, data warehouses, and data integration solutions.
Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and Snowflake workloads.
Implement Snowflake solutions leveraging AWS cloud services.
Define data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines from various source systems into Snowflake.
Establish data security, governance, access controls, and performance optimization strategies.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, business teams, and technical architects.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for data modernization initiatives.
Analyze existing data platforms and recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in data architecture/data engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Excellent SQL skills.
Strong AWS experience, including services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, and/or EMR.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
Strong understanding of cloud-based data architecture and distributed data platforms.
Experience with Snowflake performance tuning, security, and optimization.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, and Data Lake architecture.
Experience with Python and modern ETL/ELT tools.
Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
Experience leading enterprise-level cloud data migration or modernization projects.
