The AWS Region Services team combines AWS global cloud leadership with Australian security expertise to deliver highly secure, scalable environments for sensitive workloads.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and automation of complex Windows infrastructure solutions across multiple environments.
• Support infrastructure automation, system architecture, and Windows environment management, focusing on developing automated solutions for managing large server fleets.
• Provide technical support for Windows Server infrastructure systems and Active Directory services.
• Perform system maintenance, updates, and patch management for Windows environments.
• Develop and implement automation solutions for routine support processes using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities, and contribute to knowledge base and runbook development.
• Participate in on call rotation to ensure 24/7 system availability.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree or related experience.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with a scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby or similar.
• 1+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of building scripts, tooling, and automation for large scale computing environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration/Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, etc.
• Experience in networking and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years of site reliability engineering (SRE), systems engineering, systems administration, DevOps, security administration, or network administration experience.
