Job Description

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Human Resources Business Partner to support our patient-focused, quality-driven laboratory teams in Austin. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders across clinical and administrative areas to align HR strategy with business needs, drive workforce planning, and support organizational growth. Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and change management. You'll champion CPL's culture of integrity, accuracy, and collaboration while ensuring compliance with employment and healthcare regulations and supporting staff development.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across laboratory operations and corporate functions to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution in a healthcare environment.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts for clinical and administrative roles, ensuring timely and compliant hiring.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Coach managers on leadership, feedback, and development conversations to build high-performing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and healthcare-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and staffing to recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Support compensation, benefits, and recognition programs that attract and retain healthcare talent.
  • Facilitate onboarding, training, and change management to support growth and technology adoption.
  • Promote CPL's patient-focused, quality-driven culture through communication and engagement initiatives.
