Important for applicants

This is not a general Power BI role. You must show how health insurance knowledge has helped you interpret data, validate logic or improve reporting outcomes.

What you'll be doing in this role: Migration of Existing BI Assets

You'll assess current reports, dashboards, datasets and semantic models developed in SAS, then migrate priority BI assets to Databricks-backed structures without losing accuracy, performance or business meaning. This includes translating existing queries and rules where needed, validating claims logic, investigating differences and documenting flows, transformations and validation outcomes so the migrated assets remain reliable and maintainable.

Power BI Dashboards & Visualisation

You'll build and maintain Power BI dashboards that answer clear health insurance business questions and help stakeholders understand performance, risks and opportunities. You'll turn requirements into simple, insight-led reporting, using strong data modelling, DAX and Power Query practices while keeping definitions and measures aligned to agreed claims and health insurance rules.

Analytics and Insights

You'll use Bupa Health Insurance and external data to solve complex provider and claims problems, working closely with business areas to deliver use cases that create value for Bupa and its customers. You'll apply critical thinking to understand performance, explain drivers and limitations, recommend practical actions and continue building capability in Databricks and Azure as reporting moves from legacy platforms.

Why you'll love it?

We support our people to be the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves.

You'll work on reporting and insights that matter, helping Bupa modernise how claims information is understood and used.
