Technical Services Engineer

Reports to: Service Delivery Manager

This role is well suited to an experienced engineer who is looking to progress into a more advanced technical and specialist position. In this role, you will take ownership of complex systems, lead technical problem-solving efforts, and implement enhanced control measures, while also supporting the development of other engineers.

What You’ll Do

· Delivering and overseeing water hygiene service delivery

· Acting as a technical escalation point for complex issues

· Supporting Legionella Risk Assessments and compliance advice

· Working with supplementary control systems (ClO₂, H₂O₂, copper-silver)

· Mentoring and up-skilling engineers

· Supporting remote monitoring projects and system implementation

What You’ll Bring

Essential

• Strong working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and practical water hygiene control.

• Experience completing or supporting Legionella Risk Assessments.

• Strong understanding of risk assessment and safe systems of work.

• Knowledge of HTM 04-01 healthcare water systems.

• TMV servicing and in-service testing experience.

• Experience in auditing or quality assurance of water hygiene services.

• Experience with planned and reactive repair and maintenance of supplementary control systems
