We're hiring on behalf of a global technology and professional services company dedicated to delivering consulting, technology, and mission services across the U.S. government, defense, and intelligence communities. The Role

• Create, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management and compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather and organize technical information.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems.
• Maintain records of revisions, version control, and documentation repositories for accessibility and traceability.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or a related field (experience may substitute for education).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation.
• Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans.
• Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible).
