CAD Engineer

Job Title: Engineer II Duration: 1+ year of Contract (This role will not be converting FTE) Location: Los Angeles, CA 90013
Description:

The position contributes to the full design lifecycle by preparing high-quality technical drawings and schematics that meet engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. Responsible for developing and reviewing engineering design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. Requires strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering concepts into clear, precise documentation. Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D is required, including the ability to develop and manage 3D piping models, generate intelligent P&IDs, produce orthographic and isometric drawings, and maintain project databases in alignment with industry standards.
2-10+ Years of Experience.

Desired qualifications:

-Strong technical drafting skills, Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D, develop and manage 3D piping models, and the ability to interpret engineering concepts into clear, precise drawings.
-Day to Day: Leads the development and review of 3D models, piping layouts, and orthographic drawings, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry codes.

Education:
-Highschool diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred

Some Notes on the Role:
-One round of interviews with the host manager
-This role will be onsite 1-2 days a week, and remote for the remaining days
