Model Based Systems Engineer - 176551 with Security Clearance

Piper Companies is looking for a Model Based Systems Engineer to join a government integrator based out of Point Loma, CA. This role requires the candidate to report onsite and possess and active TS/SCI.

Essential Duties of the Model Based Systems Engineer

• Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of products from concept throughout the product lifecycle
• Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge
• Develop innovative solutions to complex problems
• Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members

Qualifications of theModel Based Systems Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or 4+ years of experience with MBSE
• Minimum 2+ years of experience developing or defining architectures that integrate MBSE tools, simulation environments, data repositories, and lifecycle management systems
• 2+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
• 2+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
• 2+ years of experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design
• Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC)

Compensation for theModel Based Systems Engineer:

• $150,000-$175,000+ (based on experience)
