About the Role
We are looking for an experienced People Business Partner to provide trusted HR support and advice across a complex and fast-paced environment.
The role will focus on employee relations, HR projects, organisational development and people-focused programmes, while working closely with stakeholders to support effective people decisions and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Provide HR advice and support across employee relations matters, policies and UK employment law.

Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and provide practical, commercially focused HR guidance.

Support and deliver HR projects, organisational development initiatives and people programmes.

Analyse HR data and produce HR metrics, management information and data-driven recommendations.

Support managers with employee relations, performance and people-related matters.

Contribute to organisational change, transformation and culture initiatives.

Support talent management, succession planning and workforce planning activities.
-
Contribute to early careers and wider people development programmes.
-
Support career architecture and grading frameworks where required.

Manage multiple priorities and HR activities effectively within agreed timelines.

Prepare reports, presentations and management information for stakeholders.

Work collaboratively with HR and wider business teams to deliver people-focused solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
-
CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
-
Proven experience as an HR Advisor, Junior HR Business Partner or HR Business Partner.

Strong employee relations experience.
-
Sound understanding of UK employment law, HR policies and best practice.
-
Experience delivering HR projects and organisational development initiatives.

Strong analytical skills with experience producing HR metrics and management information.

Ability to use HR data to provide data-driven recommendations.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Strong organisational and project management skills.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Desirable Experience
-
Degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.

HAY Job Evaluation accreditation.
-
Experience with career architecture and grading frameworks.
-
Experience supporting talent management, succession planning and workforce planning.
-
Experience supporting early careers programmes.
-
Experience leading organisational change, transformation and culture initiatives.
-
HR experience within engineering, scientific, technical, energy, infrastructure, public sector or highly regulated environments.

Strong HR analytics experience.
