Our client is a large ACT Government organisation seeking a Senior Microsoft Identity Engineer (Internal Title = Senior Identity and Access Management Specialist) to support, develop and integrate a complex Microsoft Active Directory and Identity environment within a large enterprise setting.

This role will suit a hands on Microsoft identity specialist with strong experience across Active Directory, Entra ID, MIM/FIM, PowerShell, hybrid identity, Windows Server and enterprise identity integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day support, development and integration across Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and related identity platforms.
• Administer and troubleshoot MIM/FIM identity flows, including complex identity integration issues across multiple systems and directory targets.
• Support Microsoft Windows Server environments, PowerShell / PowerShell DSC, Azure cloud technologies and JSON / YAML templating.
• Design and implement Active Directory and Entra ID solutions across hybrid enterprise environments.
• Support modern identity capabilities including MFA, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, B2B, B2C and Application Proxy.
• Provide high level technical support, fault diagnosis, maintenance and remediation across identity and directory services.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through effective use of Active Directory, Entra ID and identity management platforms.

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID in a large enterprise environment.
• (Desirable) Strong experience with Entra ID MFA, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, B2B, B2C and Application Proxy.
• (Desirable) Demonstrated experience in MIM/FIM administration, with a focus on analysis and troubleshooting of complex identity flows.
• (Desirable) Experience with MIM Rules Extension framework, metaverse design, management agents, workflow administration and integration with multiple source systems and directory targets.
• (Desirable) Strong PowerShell scripting capability, particularly across Active Directory, LDAP, Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with hybrid identity environments, Azure AD Connect, ADFS, DNS and Microsoft server operating systems will be highly regarded.
• The successful candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.
