Location: Kimberley, Nottingham

Pay: Days - £14.30 per hour | Nights - £14.80 per hour

Shifts: Days & Nights Available -

             8am - 8pm

             8pm - 8am

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll support a 93-year-old gentleman with complex care needs who has a tracheostomy. You’ll be there to help him remain comfortable and well supported while receiving care within his own home.

The key tasks within this role include:

  • Providing personal care
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioning
  • PEG feed management
  • Moving and handling
  • Supporting with bowel management
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting with day-to-day activities

Our enjoys watching television and films and is particularly interested in football and cricket, if you are a fan of the latter it would be a big plus! 

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need previous care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience, as we provide full nurse-led training.

Previous experience with tracheostomy care, suctioning, PEG care, bowel management, medication administration or moving and handling would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.

A meet and greet with the client will be required as part of the recruitment process.
