Job Description

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an Infra Delivery Technician to build and maintain AWS data center infrastructure supporting global cloud services. You will install and configure servers, racks, power, and network equipment; perform cabling and hardware replacements; execute work orders; and support capacity expansions. You'll follow strict security, safety, and change-management procedures while troubleshooting hardware issues and collaborating with engineering teams. In AWS's customer-obsessed, high-ownership culture, you'll work on large-scale, mission-critical systems and continuously grow your technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure servers, racks, and related data center hardware
  • Perform structured cabling, labeling, and power connectivity for new infrastructure
  • Execute work orders and deployment plans to deliver new capacity on schedule
  • Troubleshoot and replace failed components including disks, NICs, and power supplies
  • Monitor and respond to infrastructure incidents, escalating as needed
  • Follow strict security, safety, and access-control procedures in data centers
  • Document changes, configurations, and inventory accurately
  • Collaborate with network, systems, and capacity engineering teams on deployments
  • Support on-call or shift-based coverage in 24/7 production environments
  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and automation of infra delivery
