Quick Overview
Job Description

At Orbus Software, we believe transformation doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens through partnership, insight, and the ability to turn complexity into confidence.
Our business transformation platform, OrbusInfinity, helps organizations understand how their business operates, connect strategy to execution, and make better-informed decisions in the age of AI. Trusted by more than 600 enterprises and government organizations across 50+ countries, we work alongside our customers to navigate complex transformation, optimize technology investments, and turn strategy into action.
As a Professional Services Consultant, you will help turn complex Enterprise Architecture requirements into practical solutions for Orbus customers across North America, initially supporting a large new engagement within the US federal government.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Professional Services, North America, you will manage a defined workstream within a large implementation, covering requirements gathering, solution configuration, testing, documentation, workshops and training. Working with client stakeholders and internal Orbus colleagues, you will help move the implementation forward, resolve delivery issues and support customers in using their solutions effectively.
The role is preferably based on the US East Coast to align with client and team working patterns. Candidates based elsewhere in the US may also be considered, provided they can work effectively with the required hours and meet the role’s travel expectations.
What You Will Do
Provide support and guidance to customers during onboarding and implementation, helping them realize value from Orbus products and solutions.
Work closely with internal onboarding colleagues and customer project teams to manage a defined workstream within a large implementation and deliver agreed activities.
Build trusted working relationships with customer stakeholders and contribute to a positive customer experience throughout the engagement.
Understand customer use cases and gather requirements by asking clear and thoughtful questions. Translate customer needs into clear business outcomes and practical solution approaches, using your own initiative to advise customers on how to make best use of Orbus services and solutions to achieve their objectives.
Configure and optimize Orbus products and solutions in line with agreed customer requirements.
Test configured solutions and prepare clear functional documentation to support customer review, handover and ongoing use.
Deliver training courses and develop or adapt custom training materials to support effective knowledge transfer.
Deliver and contribute to customer workshops, working sessions and consultancy sessions throughout the engagement lifecycle. Apply Orbus best practices to provide practical guidance, resolve implementation challenges and support continued adoption of implemented solutions.
Apply relevant Enterprise Architecture concepts and practices where appropriate to support customer initiatives.
Work with Customer Success Managers, Account Managers and other internal colleagues to communicate progress, identify adoption risks and support a consistent customer journey.
Deliver clear solution walkthroughs, implementation updates and working sessions for technical, business and senior customer stakeholders.
Work with internal specialists and Professional Services colleagues to share lessons learned and contribute to reusable methodologies, training materials and published assets.
Advocate for customer needs by identifying adoption barriers and providing structured feedback on how Orbus can better serve customers.
Share relevant customer feedback with Product Development colleagues to inform potential product improvements.
Manage your own delivery activities, actions and priorities, escalating risks, dependencies or issues that require wider decision-making.
