SEN / SEND Tutor | Halifax, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5 across various learning difficulties including MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to referred students.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with schools and local authorities to raise the standard of education for vulnerable learners.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance available if needed).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
