Cloud Network Engineer

seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer Contractor to support the design, implementation, automation, and operational support of enterprise network services across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This role will partner with network, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to modernize networking capabilities, enable secure cloud connectivity, and support cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support hybrid and multi-cloud network solutions.
Troubleshoot complex network and cloud connectivity issues.
Develop and maintain network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
Support cloud network security implementations and best practices.
Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver scalable and reliable networking solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Support network modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Required Skills:
Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure in both on-premises and public cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security services across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and network automation using:
Terraform Cloud and/or OpenTofu
Python
Ansible
GitHub
REST APIs
Strong understanding of:
Routing and switching
Firewalls
DNS
Hybrid cloud connectivity
Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience designing and supporting cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premises connectivity solutions.
Experience with cloud-native security technologies including Security Groups, Network ACLs, Azure Firewall, AWS WAF, and Google Cloud Platform VPC Firewall and VPC Security Controls
Experience developing monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions for cloud network infrastructure.
Experience supporting audit, compliance, and operational documentation requirements.
Experience with globally distributed cloud environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
