Job Description

The successful candidate will perform advanced security operations reverse engineering and software development for network-based devices. The candidate will work closely with analysts, operators, data scientists, and other engineers to provide mission support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Derive, document, and analyze stakeholder requirements.
  • Port, modify or augment existing toolsets.
  • Provide rapid prototypes for early validation and user feedback to demonstrate an understanding of mission requirements.
  • Produce production-ready tools that operate within mission constraints.

Required Skills

  • Familiarity with Unix-based systems (e.g., BSD, Linux, UNIX).
  • Experience with reverse engineering Linux-based network devices using Ghidra and/or IDA Pro.
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and analysis of network traffic (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Able to produce and modify software systems in C/C++/Python/Assembly.
  • Provide support for fielded software systems.
  • Familiarity with Git, Subversion, and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with reverse engineering various RTOS or MS Windows ™.
  • Knowledge of RISC processors (MIPS, POWER, ARM).
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, C#, Rust, Go.
  • Experience in developing offensive security operations specific software in Linux/Windows/Embedded applications.
  • Vulnerability research and exploit development experience.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end signals intelligence collection and analysis systems.
  • Experience with production offensive security operations capabilities and operations.
