Systems Admin II – Windows/Linux & Juniper with Security Clearance

Seeking a Level 2 System Administrator to deliver advanced support and optimization across Windows, Linux, and enterprise network infrastructures. This role encompasses Tier 1 and Tier 2 diagnostic operations, complex system troubleshooting, infrastructure configuration and maintenance, and high level escalation management within mission critical environments. Core Responsibilities • Provide support for IT system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

• Manage daily configuration and operations of client/server/storage/network systems
• Perform Tier 1 & Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution
• Monitor day to day operations and resolve issues across all devices (servers, networks, mobile)
• Support escalation workflows and communicate status to internal stakeholders
• Configure and manage UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems
• Install and troubleshoot OS software; maintain integrity of network components
• Optimize system operations; conduct system capacity planning
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets
• Support dispatch systems and hardware issues throughout resolution Minimum Qualifications • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (must already be held)
• IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, GSEC, CySA+, CCNA Security, or GICSP)
• 10+ years System Administrator experience (or 5 additional years in place of degree)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• Windows 11 hardware troubleshooting
• Linux experience with Ubuntu and Fedora
• Networking experience with Juniper
• Windows Server management (DNS, DHCP, AD/GPO, RDS, Hyper V)
• PowerShell scripting experience

Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Cisco and Dell networking systems

• Ability to perform switch code upgrades (Cisco & Juniper)
• Strong Windows/Linux troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with HP Device Manager or similar RMM tools
• Experience with Splunk, Zabbix, Syslog ng
