IT Asset Manager - ServiceNow ITAM, SAM Pro, Flexera - London/Hybrid - £65k

TrinIT Talent are looking for an experienced IT Asset Manager to join our customer based in Central London. This is a permanent position paying up to £65,000 per annum, with hybrid working.

This is an opportunity to build and establish the IT Asset Management function from scratch, taking ownership of how IT assets are governed, controlled and managed across the organisation.

You will be responsible for creating the processes, policies, governance and reporting needed to establish a mature ITAM capability across Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management and the wider technology estate, with ServiceNow and Flexera as key platforms supporting the function.

The role

• Build and establish the IT Asset Management function from the ground up.

• Create and implement ITAM policies, processes, standards and governance.

• Own IT Asset Management across ITAM, HAM and SAM.

• Establish effective asset tracking, ownership and life cycle controls.

• Manage software licensing, compliance, utilisation and vendor audits.

• Develop hardware life cycle, refresh and disposal processes.

• Administer and optimise ServiceNow ITAM, ServiceNow SAM Pro and Flexera.

• Improve asset data quality across ServiceNow, CMDB and associated platforms.

• Support technology procurement, contract renewals and licence negotiations.

• Identify opportunities to optimise software licensing and technology spend.

• Build ITAM dashboards, management reporting and KPIs.

• Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement and third-party service providers.

Key skills

• Strong IT Asset Management/Software Asset Management experience.

• Experience building, implementing or significantly maturing an ITAM function.

• Strong ServiceNow ITAM and SAM Pro experience.

• Strong Flexera experience.

• Excellent understanding of Hardware and Software Asset Management.

• Software licensing, compliance and audit experience.

• Experience creating ITAM governance, policies and processes.

• Procurement and technology vendor management experience.

• Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.

• ITIL experience or certification.
