Procurement Analyst

A leading Aerospace and Defence organisation are looking to bring onboard a data driven Procurement Analyst to join a high-profile function in Yeovil. Role: Procurement Analyst<br />Duration: 12-month contract<br />Pay: Up to £30 p/hr (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)<br />Location: Yeovil (Hybrid)You'll work closely with programme teams and stakeholders, transforming complex data sets into actionable insights while supporting customer projects and operational improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and interpret large data sets to support customer and business projects.<br />Develop reports, dashboards and visualisations to present meaningful business insights.<br />Support project planning, scheduling and performance tracking activities.<br />Manage and maintain project, material and configuration data.<br />Produce regular reports and presentations for stakeholders across the business.<br />Identify trends, risks and opportunities through data analysis.<br />Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.<br />Support business improvement initiatives through data-driven decision making.<br />Ensure accurate reporting and adherence to internal processes and governance.This role sits at the heart of customer support operations, providing analysis, reporting and project support to drive informed business decisions. Requirements:

Aerospace, defence, engineering or manufacturing sector experience.<br />Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis, reporting, Pivot Tables and complex formulas.<br />Understanding of logistics support, customer support or programme support environments.<br />Knowledge of project planning, risk management, procurement or PMO activities.<br />Experience within a Data Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Business Analyst, Procurement Analyst or similar role.<br />Experience using Power BI, Tableau or another data visualisation tool.<br />Strong ability to collect, manipulate and present data clearly and concisely.<br />SAP and Microsoft Project experience.This is a great opportunity to join a globally recognised aerospace and defence organisation and gain exposure to large-scale programmes and business-critical projects.
