They are seeking a dedicated Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to champion best practices and ensure patient and staff safety within a hospital setting. The Role • Lead surveillance, prevention, and control of infections within the hospital environment. • Champion and uphold high standards of infection prevention and control practices for the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. • Serve as a professional role model, demonstrating a commitment to improving IPC practices and delivering staff education. • Provide evidence-based clinical advice and support on infection prevention and control. • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of patient care. What You'll Need • Registered Nurse with a degree or equivalent experience. • Current NMC registration. • Teaching and Assessing qualification or equivalent experience. • Proven up-to-date experience in infection prevention and control practices. • Recent experience as a registered nurse in an acute surgical care setting.
