Mechanical Engineer (Steam &amp; Building Services)<br />Darlington<br />Up to £45,000 + On Call Our client is looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to support multiple regulated commercial buildings across the North of England and Scotland. This role will focus primarily on steam boilers and associated mechanical plant within highly regulated environments. The successful candidate will join a well-established team supporting critical building services across a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial or industrial maintenance background and have experience working within controlled environments such as hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical sites, or food production facilities.

Requirements:

Strong experience with steam boilers and mechanical plant<br />Commercial maintenance experience<br />Full UK Driving Licence<br />Ability to fault find and carry out planned and reactive maintenanceDesirable: Gas qualifications<br />Pump experience<br />NEBOSH qualification<br />Experience within regulated or critical environmentsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable contract with excellent long-term prospects, having already been in place for five years with a further five years remaining. The wider team consists of Engineers, Maintenance Assistants, Supervisors, and Senior Management, with an on-call rota of 1 in 8 once fully staffed. The interview process will consist of two stages
